Hi, I’m Andrew.

This is a passion project of mine- and just this morning I finally realized what it’s really about.

This site is about freedom. A ‘sustainable’ life is, yes, about being conscious of our environment and place in it. Still, it’s also about bending life and our available resources to best fit our greater selves and all of those curiosities that can be unleashed once we step out and into the unknown.

A bit about myself…

• • Born in Alaska, raised around the world, and then in Hawaii.

• • A decade in Europe teaching/directing/DJ.

• • Built and sold a bio-diesel company in Costa Rica.

• • Wrote 4 books totaling 250k words.

• • Van-Life for two 6 month stints in two different vehicles.

• • 3 years in my own off-grid construction on Mt. Shasta, CA.

• • Over 10 years in real estate (S.F., Sac, SEA), successfully flipped my own homes, and am a nationally certified Home Inspector.

• • Now- contract work as an SEO/writer/consultant, while working on my own projects.

• • Finally, after 2yrs in P.R. and South America, I’m currently living in Mexico (with an eye to southern Italy).
